Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $131,500.00 - $157,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to assess and anticipate HR-related needs for the business and seek to develop integrated solutions by partnering across the Talent Management function. This role is responsible for proactively working with executive management in designated markets or segments to align Talent Management services with their business objectives.
Essential Functions

Serve as an advisor and strategic partner to leaders on talent management related issues, such as retention, organizational structure, performance management, policy interpretation, employee relations, conflict resolution, etc.

Consult with executive management as a strategic partner; understanding their business to effectively provide advice, and at times, challenge thinking, on talent management needs

Lead a portion of the Talent Management team; provide coaching and development to Talent Management Managers/Consultants and ensure they have the necessary consulting, relationship building, problem solving, data literacy skills, and employee relations skills

Provide guidance on creation and implementation of company policies and Talent Management Consulting processes

Use data to inform executive management about levers they can pull to address workforce issues, such as, retention or morale

Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Inclusion, Talent Experience and Culture to have a coordinated response to business needs, provide solutions/insights into changing business needs and internal talent perspectives

Represent and provide input into large projects for the Talent Management function that enhance efficiency of the team, meet new regulations, support new talent management, or bank initiatives

Serve as point of contact for broad team member communications for the market or campus (events, emergencies, campaigns)

Be visible and involved in the community via organizations or events that are important to the bank or that enhance our employee brand internally and externally

Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs

Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required

Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively

Support budget management, planning and expenditure

Broad knowledge of many disciplines within Human Resources, such as inclusion, compensation, benefits, talent experience and recruiting

Proven ability to handle employee relations issues and strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience required
-
8+ years senior level human resources experience in a consultant, generalist or equivalent role required
-
4+ years leadership/supervisory experience required

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $131,500 to $157,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
