Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision, Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Programs, located in Jacksonville, FL or Limerick, Ireland.
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Programs is a key member of the Surgical Vision Supply Chain team, responsible for providing end-to-end supply chain leadership across product lifecycle management and complex supply chain initiatives for the SV Implants portfolio (IOL, OVD, and Inserters).
This role requires a deep understanding of the business segment and end-to-end supply chain, along with close partnership with Innovation, Global Marketing, and customer-facing Commercial Teams to align with strategic priorities, financial performance drivers, quality standards, service levels, and core business processes.
The Senior Manager is accountable for defining and delivering the Lifecycle Management roadmap and leading the associated portfolio through cross-functional collaboration with PLAN, MAKE, MAKE Engineering, Source, Deliver, IT, Quality, Commercial, and R&D.
Additionally, this role will lead complex supply chain and lifecycle management teams, drive governance processes, and operate effectively across multiple levels of the franchise and global supply chain.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the development and execution of product lifecycle management roadmaps for the SV Implants value stream, and establish robust governance aligned with global portfolio processes
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to execute lifecycle strategies and complex supply chain programs, including portfolio optimization and phase-out activities (e.g., SKU rationalization, delisting, simplification, cost reduction), while ensuring supply continuity
- Drive alignment and execution across cross-functional teams to deliver objectives, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation and contingency plans
- Ensure value stream and program teams understand lifecycle strategies, objectives, risks, and mitigation plans across the end-to-end SV Implants supply chain
- Ensure the broader supply chain organization is informed, engaged, and prepared to execute lifecycle strategies and complex supply chain programs
Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or University degree is required; a technical degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management is preferred
Required:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant business experience is required
- Experience within one or more supply chain functions (Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Management) is required
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes across Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver is required
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skill, with the ability to translate insights into business and supply chain actions is required
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs and influencing within a matrix organization is required
- Experience operating within governance frameworks and leading portfolio or program reviews is required
- Proven ability to build alignment, influence without authority, and lead cross-functional teams is required
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments and manage ambiguity is required
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments and manage ambiguity.
Preferred:
- Experience in large-scale complex program and/or portfolio management is preferred
- Value stream management experience and/or Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is preferred
- Healthcare or regulated industry experience is preferred
Other:
- May require up to 25% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
