Position summary
The Health100 platform integrates any participating health plan, PBM, pharmacy (retail and specialty), provider, digital health point solution provider, and employer, and addresses the top health care challenges for the consumer.
The Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Development will support the Health100 Growth & Profitability team to realize Health100’s near-term business objectives and long-term strategic goals. In this role, you will contribute to the identification and assessment of market opportunities for each of Health100’s stakeholders—pharmacies, drug manufacturers and life sciences companies, health plans and employers, and digital consumers—and support Health100’s ambitious expansion to become the trusted front door for health and care for millions of Americans.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads strategic initiatives and projects aimed at achieving business objectives by defining project scopes, developing key hypotheses to test, conducting analysis, and surfacing insights and recommendations. As an experienced strategist, the Senior Manager is expected to lead projects end to end with considerably autonomy, making tradeoffs about where to focus and how to conduct the work as priorities evolve and bringing in their manager for highest leverage support.
- Evaluates market segments, product offerings, and business models to identify new business opportunities and growth avenues for Health100 using a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Composes effective and concise written analysis and anticipates when slides, a memo, or a meeting is the most efficient way to deliver insights/request support or feedback.
- Communicates and presents strategies, business cases, and progress updates to senior executives and other stakeholders.
- Navigates complex organizational and interpersonal dynamics to ensure high-quality work is appropriately delivered, at the right level of detail and at the right time, to the correct set of stakeholders and decision-makers in the company.
- Facilitates successful, decision-oriented conversations and flexes approach with stakeholders to maximize meeting effectiveness.
- Applies AI technology to accelerate analytical work and materials creation (and verifies AI-generated content for relevance and accuracy).
- Attends industry events and participates in professional networks to stay abreast of industry developments and shifts in the market landscape.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a related field (business, finance, economics, healthcare, medicine) preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of work experience in highly regulated or diversified healthcare organizations or / in combination with serving healthcare organization in a strategic or advisory role
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling to synthesize and analyze large datasets
- Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
