Summary of the role:

To support and advice Amadeus top management in Navitaire in the decision making process with a strategic, independent and objective perspective, providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends. The Manager, SFA of Navitaire will be responsible for the Analysis and Financial Control of Navitaire worldwide and will ensure the link with the Business Units and Functions in the Headquarters. Actively lead the FP&A function of Navitaire, including the coordination with those Transactional activities performed in Noram's and APAC Transactional Hubs. The scope will be over 300m eur in revenues, spread over all continents. This position would require relocation to Salt Lake City Utah. This is a hybrid position and would require you to be in the local office 2-3 days a week. 
Responsibilities:

Financial performance analysis
Includes preparing and overseeing the business line monthly financial results and business metrics; analyzing and investigating material variances versus previous year, versus budget, versus forecast and Long Term Plan (LTP), when available.

Planning
Ensures proper coordination of the controlling teams and business unit in order to have accurate budget, forecasts and LTP aligned to strategy, evolution of the business and financial targets. To improve budget and forecast processes.

Profitability analysis and product business cases
Segments profitability at customer and product level to support prioritization processes and business decision making. Ensures quarterly reporting on Navitaire projects follow up with special focus on the SUS contract. Includes product business cases that support investment decision (Investment Committee submission) and support capitalization exercises

Business performance analysis
This role also requires deep understanding of the existing Navitaire business lines in order to provide meaningful tools for management to take the necessary actions through the definition and follow up of KPIs of the business unit. These insights are today provided by the following deliverables:
Analysis of PBs
Analysis of pricing
Analysis of Non transactional revenues 
Analysis of deferred revenues
Analysis of running costs and FTEs
Analysis of capitalizations
Analysis of third party vendor costs

Internal Systems and Organization
Responsible for supporting the automation of processes according to the Group's Policies and Tools . Also important is to continuous monitor alignment of the deliverables in terms of data, methodology, overall messages and dates.

About the ideal candidate:

• University Degree in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics/ Engineering or Business
• MBA or post graduate studies in Business Administration

• 15 years experience as consultant or in a multinational firm 
• 5 years experience in operational finance functions
• Management of multinational teams
• Management of large projects
• Worldwide responsibility in previous roles

• Strong understanding of Airline IT and GDS knowledge
