The Role:

As a Commercial Payments Senior Manager within a Sponsor Bank environment, you will play a key role in overseeing and enhancing SoFi’s commercial payments services process.  Your primary responsibility will be to act as the liaison between the Payments Center of Excellence and Commercial Payment Services to implement ACH, wire, and card payment rails.  This includes working alongside the Business Leads, Accounting, and Engineering to meet the client needs and ensure regulatory compliance.   


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational projects related to system upgrades, new product rollouts, and automation initiatives
  • Collaborate across department lines (Accounting, Engineering, CPS Business) to understand and establish payment flows per the individual client
  • Act as primary point of contact for Operations, updating management as needed
  • Work closely with management of the Payments CoE to ensure SoFi can support the client’s needs
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Track and analyze transaction volume and product adoption
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks


Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial processing for ACH, wire transfers, and debit/credit card transactions.  
  • Minimum of 5 years working in the commercial payments field with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across department lines

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
