Toast is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise Quick Service and Full Service Restaurant teams. You will lead teams tasked with helping to deliver the most important features for our enterprise customers and directly impact Toast’s success. You love developing the skills of your team and finding ways to deliver features more efficiently. You help connect their work to Toast’s broader mission. You care deeply about helping the people whom you manage grow into excellent engineers and great teammates. You are interested in technical work, with enough experience to make sure that engineers are moving in the right direction. On a given day, you might be reviewing design documents and PRs, coordinating discussions between teams, collaborating on roadmaps with architectural and product stakeholders, and conducting 1:1s with team members.

- Experience writing, delivering, and operating software in a SaaS environment
- Experience writing and delivering mobile software is a plus
- Experience mentoring and developing successful teams
- A strong sense of empathy for customers and teammates

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

$182,000—$291,000 USD
