Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the R&D head to drive software design, development, unit testing, and maintenance activities.

• Design and implement a talent-building strategy tailored to local needs, creating a structured engineering team aligned with company goals.

• Establish mentorship and training programs to cultivate technical excellence and career growth within the team.

• Adapt global processes to local workflows, ensuring efficiency and compliance with automotive standards.

• Lead platform architecture design and development, guiding the team through complex technical challenges.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams (software, hardware, QA) to deliver high-quality vehicle IHU/DHU projects on time.

• Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Professional Experience

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role (team lead, manager, or technical director).

• Proven track record in managing complex Android software projects; automotive Android experience (e.g., Android Auto, Automotive OS) is highly preferred.

• Strong background in software design patterns, agile methodologies, and waterfall models.

Technical Competencies

• Expertise in modern programming languages: Java, Python, Kotlin, and Android Framework architecture.

• Deep understanding of software architecture design for scalable and maintainable systems.

• Experience in automotive infotainment (IHU/DHU) development and integration is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with cross-team collaboration tools and project management frameworks.

Soft Skills

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and grow technical teams.

• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical solutions under tight deadlines.
