Job SummaryChurch & Dwight is seeking a Sales Finance, Senior Manager- FP&A. This role is responsible for leading key Sales Finance and trade operations, managing GTN accruals, forecasting, and financial controls while partnering closely with Sales leadership to support business performance.
Work Environment
Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.
Role Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesPeople Leadership
Lead and develop a team of 6 direct reports, including 3 FP&A analysts and 3 Trade Deductions specialists.
Coach and mentor team members to enhance analytical capabilities, operational efficiency, and business partnership skills.
Gross-to-Net (GTN) & Trade Finance Ownership
Oversee end‑to‑end GTN accrual management, including:
Sales Returns & Allowance
Retailer-specific allowances
Brokerage Commissions & Bonus
Trade & Slotting programs
Ensure timely and accurate monthly close of all accruals and postings.
Drive continuous process improvements for GTN transparency and accuracy.
Forecasting & Planning
Own delivery of Brand-level Sales, Trade, and Slotting monthly forecasts and annual plans to Marketing Finance.
Partner cross‑functionally to validate assumptions, identify risks/opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
Business Partnership & SG&A Ownership
Partner with Sales VPs to manage SG&A budgets, provide budget-to-actual visibility, and support resource allocation.
Strengthen financial discipline across Sales leadership teams through insights and financial governance.
Invoicing & Operational Finance
Oversee processing and approval of Sales and Trade invoices customers.
Ensure proper documentation, controls, and timely resolution of invoice discrepancies.
Control Environment & Audit Engagement
Manage interaction with Internal and External Audit partners, providing support and documentation.
Responsible for testing, monitoring, and validating approximately 10 SOX controls within Sales Finance and Trade Deduction processes.
Drive remediation plans where needed to uphold compliance standards.

Financial modeling and analytical rigor

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
10+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Sales Finance, or related function
Experience managing teams
Strong knowledge of trade accruals, GTN, deductions, and CPG financial processes
Proven ability to partner with senior commercial leaders
Proficiency with financial systems and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
Familiarity with SOX controls and audit processes
Advanced modeling and forecasting capabilities
Experience with SAP, TPM, or similar systems
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,200- $185,400. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
