Hybrid Work Arrangement: Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the Herndon office and be available to attend in-person meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed.
The Senior Manager, Sales is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, business plans, and account management initiatives that drive revenue and business expansion for a portfolio of emerging technology vendors in the public sector market.
This role combines sales leadership, business development, vendor relationship management, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate is a growth-oriented leader who excels at building vendor partnerships, developing go-to-market strategies, and leading teams through transformation.
Develop and execute vendor growth strategies, business plans, and joint partner initiatives to achieve revenue and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor sales teams, leadership, and key stakeholders.
Conduct business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and growth discussions with vendors.
Partner with account management teams to develop sales activity plans and drive execution.
Manage team sales activities, pipeline development, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Maintain a strong understanding of vendor priorities, business goals, and market opportunities.
Lead proposal responses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Prepare and review vendor value reports and business performance metrics.
Establish team goals, performance metrics, and success measures.
Coach, mentor, and develop team leads and sales professionals through regular performance discussions.
Serve as the primary escalation point for issue resolution and vendor support.
Drive vendor engagement, business growth, and execution of go-to-market strategies.
Represent DLT and TD SYNNEX value-added services to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the team to achieve or exceed sales quotas and business objectives.
Identify opportunities to expand existing vendor relationships and reactivate dormant partnerships.
Collaborate with vendors, reseller partners, government customers, and internal stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of professional, military, or related experience.
Current sales leadership experience required, including direct people management responsibility for a sales team.
Demonstrated success leading sales teams, managing pipelines, forecasting revenue, and achieving sales performance goals.
6–8 years of sales, business development, customer service, and/or sales leadership experience.
5–7 years of experience supporting public sector technology, software, cloud, or emerging technology sales experience.
Demonstrated success leading sales teams, managing pipelines, forecasting revenue, and achieving performance goals.
Experience developing and executing business plans, account plans, or vendor growth strategies.
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Compensation
Annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
- Hiring Salary Range: $165,300-$206,700
