We are seeking a Senior Manager, Risk to join our Risk and Compliance team at Mercer Super in either Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days a week in the office. This role provides senior support to the Head of Risk and plays a key part in the leadership, coordination and day-to-day oversight of risk management activities across the organisation.

We will count on you to:
- Provide senior support to the Head of Risk across risk management priorities and governance activities
- Act as a key point of coordination for risk advisory services across Mercer Super, identifying, assessing and responding to risks that may affect organisational objectives
- Review and challenge risk profiles, control environments and assurance activities to support effective risk oversight
- Support implementation of the Risk Management Framework, including risk profiling, incident management and business unit guidance
- Contribute to Risk Committee reporting, including trend analysis and insights on interconnected risk data
- Help foster continuous improvement across the Line 2 function and promote risk awareness throughout the organisation
What you need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in risk advisory within superannuation
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles, control design and assurance activities
- Experience preparing clear risk insights and working with stakeholders across a regulated environment
