Marsh India Knowledge Service is seeking a skilled professional to join our Property Consulting team, based in Mumbai or Gurugram. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week working onsite/office.
The Project Manager – Corporate & Commercial Risk Engineering & Valuations Panel will report directly to the Valuations and Risk Engineering team. The role is responsible for supporting and managing the implementation and ongoing service delivery of the Corporate & Commercial Risk Engineering & Valuations Panel across the Pacific region.
The selected candidate will drive and contribute towards various Property Risk Consulting and Property Valuation projects, providing effective project management oversight encompassing activities such as managing the entire panel lifecycle from opportunity identification through to delivery, maintaining accurate records and registers, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and following established processes to meet project objectives and compliance standards.
We will count on you to:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Brokers/Practice Leaders/ Property Risk consultants/Property Valuation consultants), as well as external stakeholders (Contractors/Vendors/Agents), to ensure alignment and effective collaboration on property-related projects.
Establish a robust governance and tracking mechanism to monitor project progress, key milestones and agreed KPIs specific to property risk assessments and valuation deliverables. The incumbent will also help in identifying gaps in data or analysis and implementing remediation strategies to maintain project quality and timelines.
Develop and maintain operational frameworks, playbooks, and toolkits tailored to standardize project execution in property risk engineering and valuation, capturing organizational knowledge such as risk management techniques, valuation approaches, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Manage communications by monitoring shared inboxes for property risk and valuation opportunities, broker correspondence, and client inquiries to ensure timely and accurate responses.
Engage with contractors and external experts to obtain and evaluate pricing for property risk surveys, engineering assessments, and valuation services; draft proposals, statements of work, and internal pricing calculations; and finalize contractor selection based on technical expertise and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee project approvals and instigate quality checks with the onshore property risk engineering and valuation teams to ensure deliverables meet global and local technical standards and client expectations.
Establish property risk engineering and valuation project repository, adhering to project plans by tracking task and milestone completion, managing risks and issues related to data quality, site access, or regulatory changes, and escalating delays or unresolved matters to Practice Leaders or Consultants.
Manage financial processes related to property risk and valuation projects, including submitting invoice requests and tracking payments to contractors and vendors.
What you need to have:
4-8 years of experience in project management in developing online workflows, analyzing and maintaining business applications.
A University degree or equivalent degree.
