Job Description Summary:

Our Public Affairs, Communications, Sustainability (PACS) teams inspire growth and build trust with key stakeholders by forming meaningful relationships, communicating impact, and creating innovative products and experiences for our brands and company. We are currently seeking a high performing Senior Manager, PACS to support the delivery of impactful communications, public affairs, and sustainability initiatives across the Franchise. The ideal candidate brings strong execution capability, stakeholder engagement experience, and a passion for effective communication. 

 

What You’ll Do for Us 

  • Support the delivery of Public Affairs, Government Relations, Strategic Communications, and Sustainability related programs and initiatives within the Franchise, under the guidance of the Director PACS. 

  • Support the development and execution of end-to-end Franchise communication strategies, aligned with corporate and Franchise priorities. 

  • Drive day to day execution of core Franchise communications pillars, including leadership communication, crisis communication, internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and quality. 

  • Translate strategic direction into clear, engaging messaging and communication materials, supporting organizational change, cultural transformation, and business objectives. 

  • Serve as a key communications partner to functional leaders, providing input on message framing, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation. 

  • Support innovative communication approaches, contributing fresh thinking to elevating how the Franchise communicates across channels. 

  • Apply datadriven insights and stakeholder feedback to refine communication tactics and improve effectiveness. 

  • Partner closely with Marketing to support instinctive collaboration and PACS integration into Brand and Innovation strategies and processes. 

  • Support systemwide communication alignment, ensuring consistent messaging and execution across the Franchise. 

  • Support execution of the integrated Franchise PACS agenda, coordinating activities across Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability. 

  • Support resource planning and management, including budgets, agencies, and vendors, to ensure effective delivery. 

  • Contribute to building one PACS system team through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and capability building. 

  • Execute Public Affairs and Government Relations initiatives, including stakeholder mapping, engagement support, and issue monitoring. 

  • Monitor regional NGOs, and political developments, flagging emerging trends and potential implications for the business. 

  • Support engagement with government and nongovernment stakeholders to advance advocacy efforts and business priorities. 

  • Support Franchise Sustainability initiatives in partnership with the Sustainability team, including execution support and related communications. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field. 

  • 7+ years of relevant experience across communications, public affairs, government relations, stakeholder management, or sustainability. 

  • Strong experience in corporate communications, leadership communication, and issues/crisis communications. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality outcomes in a fast paced environment. 

  • Experience working in cross functional and multicultural teams. 

  • Exposure to public policy, government relations, stakeholder engagement, incident management, crisis response, and sustainability is a strong plus.
