As a Trade Lifecycle Associate within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing pre-trade, trade-date, and post-trade operational activities across FX, Derivatives, MM and Fixed Income. You will partner closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Treasury/Funding Operations, and Technology to ensure accurate and timely processing through our platforms and downstream infrastructures. Your proficiency in listening and questioning, internal stakeholder management, presentation skills, process improvement, and automation will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to develop your data and tech literacy skills while working with us.
Job responsibilities
- Manage the pre- and post-trade lifecycle for FX, Derivatives, MM, and Fixed Income transactions, including validation of key economics and operational eligibility.
- Execute and oversee cash movements and funding coordination, ensuring trades are supported by appropriate settlement funding and aligned to value dates and cutoffs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve breaks and exceptions related to confirmations, allocations, settlement instructions (SSIs), and cash/position reconciliations.
- Perform analysis and exercise judgement within defined parameters to identify root causes, escalate when required, and drive timely resolution of issues impacting settlement or client outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement by proposing and implementing enhancements to working methods across controls, exception management, and operational workflows.
- Leverage automation and tooling to improve efficiency (e.g., workflow optimization, data quality checks, operational dashboards), while developing data and technology literacy.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in managing cash movements and preparing funding for managed accounts.
- Broad knowledge of trade lifecycle principles with product awareness across FX, Derivatives, Money Markets, and Fixed Income.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills; effective listening and questioning to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Process improvement mindset with interest in automation and data-driven operations.
- Fluent/Native Turkish speaker (verbal and written).
- Good knowledge of English (verbal and written) sufficient for daily business communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- CMB (Capital Markets Board of Türkiye) licenses (held or eligible to obtain), as applicable to the role’s scope.
- Understanding of SWIFT, Cross Border Payments, Foreign Exchange, Trade life cycle, Reconciliation rules and Global Custody.
