In this leadership role, you will be able to provide guidance and direction to team members to achieve their self’s best and look beyond established processes and patterns. What you'll be doing:
  • Provide direction and guidance to your team covering AV operations (roles include site leads, contractor drivers, test operators, coordinators) and run our regional operations with excellence and efficiency

  • Run our regional AV program including Japan and South Korea and be the SPOC for all AV operations and execution regionally

  • Drive priorities to ensure our development and test fleet achieves schedule/scope/budget targets, proactively elevate risks and obstacles

  • Work with matrixed team of partners from hardware, software, operations, customers and other teams to identify gaps, resolve issues and provide RCCA

  • Proactively define and provide critical metrics and initiate improvements for efficiencies and report test execution and efficiency

  • Ensure compliant, flexible and efficient AV operations establishing and tuning matching trainings and processes

What we need to see:
  • BS degree or greater in an engineering or SW field (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ overall yrs of working experience, thereof 4+ yrs in leadership roles

  • Hands on experience with automotive and/or software product development and operations, ideally in an AV domain or an equivalent field like aviation

  • Strong project/program/product management fundamentals

  • Culture of continuous learning, ongoing process improvement, and a first-principles approach to problem-solving

  • Experience in influencing decisions and leading teams within a multi-functional environment, comfortable with ambiguity

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Deep understanding of product development processes, including fundamentals of automotive electronics, sensors and software

  • On the ground experience scaling vehicle operations
