Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4-6 analytics engineers
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team, providing individualized support to maintain engagement, overcome challenges, and manage priorities.
- Recruit and hire for top talent for open positions within the team.
Analytics Engineering and Infrastructure Development and Strategy:
- Develop a deep understanding of how data is used at Included Health
- Improve Included Health's foundational data models including adding data domains, and driving adoption of new data by downstream teams
- Develop scalable data pipelines, models, and analytics infrastructure within our data platform to support analytics teams and data consumers across Included Health.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility through best practices in data governance, testing, and monitoring.

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience delivering business value through analytics, with a focus on building scalable data products.
- 4+ years of experience leading analytics engineers or data professionals in a managerial or team lead role.
- Strong technical expertise in analytics engineering, including data modeling, pipeline development, and infrastructure optimization.
- Experience managing remote or hybrid teams, with a focus on promoting alignment and collaboration.
- Expert-level proficiency with SQL.
- Significant experience with Python and for data analysis and engineering.
- Experience building dashboards in Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare-related data (e.g., claims, eligibility, product data, clinical operations data) and its use in developing insights (preferred)
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
- Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
