In the position as Senior Manager Product Engineer (f/m/d) you will be located at our plant site in Lampertheim and report directly to the Director Product Engineering SBU. As Senior Manager Product Engineering (f/m/d) you’ll manage several product and test engineering teams in different sites.
About the position:

Manage a global organization consisting of several product and test engineering teams in different internal site and foundries (External wafer fabs)
-
Define with the local group manager of each engineering team yearly targets, which are derived from the targets of the global product and test engineering department and site-specific cost reduction and quality improvement targets

Establish a KPI driven reporting and governance structure to track the target execution and trigger corrective actions once deviations are detected
-
Plan the resources to support production, quality, sales and marketing support requests as well as development projects and calculate the required budget

Establish a resource planning and management process

Develop the team competences to meet the technology and product roadmap requirements

Identify together with other experts cost reduction and quality improvement options, evaluate these and drive the product change process and implementation in production
About you:
-
Technical degree in physics, electrical engineering, material science or equivalent
-
Expert knowledge in power semiconductor wafer fab processes and test or equivalent
-
Basic knowledge of semiconductor physics and devices
-
At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor engineering and test and
at least 5 years in a management position in this area -
Very good written and oral communication skills in English
-
Ability to structure complex tasks, delegate feasible work package to employees
-
Experience in defining and monitoring of wafer fab and test KPIs
-
Willingness to travel up to 30%
