NVIDIA is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager of Product Development Engineering to lead our Photonics Product Development team within the Silicon Photonics Engineering organization. In this leadership role, you will guide a team responsible for bringing next-generation silicon photonics technologies from composition validation through manufacturing ramp and high-volume production. What you'll be doing:
Lead and guide a group of product development engineers responsible for validation, characterization, and production ramp of silicon photonics devices and optical transceiver products.
Drive product development strategy from early silicon validation through qualification and high-volume manufacturing.
Develop and implement validation methodologies and test strategies for new photonic and mixed-signal silicon builds.
Partner closely with Mixed-Signal Build, Test Engineering, Reliability, Packaging and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
Coordinate optical, electro-optical, and mixed-signal characterization of new photonic integrated circuit (PIC) designs.
What we need to see:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
More than 10 years of overall experience in semiconductor or photonics product development, validation, or manufacturing engineering. 3+ years of technical leadership or management experience leading engineering teams.
Solid grasp of silicon photonics devices, optical components, and analog/mixed-signal circuit behavior.
Experience with high-speed optical testing, RF characterization, and electro-optical measurements. Proven experience in yield analysis, product characterization, and silicon debug.
Experience using statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP) for engineering insights and yield improvement.
Proficiency in automation and scripting for validation, data analysis, and test infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional problem solving under aggressive schedules.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD for Level 4, and 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD for Level 4.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
