Justworks is hiring a Senior Manager, Performance Marketing to lead the execution and ongoing evolution of our performance marketing engine within Growth Marketing. This role owns how our core performance channels operate day to day, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and consistently driving high-quality demand and pipeline.
You will join an established performance marketing function that is already operating at scale and contributing meaningfully to the business. You’ll play a central role in shaping how the engine runs going forward by refining channel strategy, improving systems and workflows, and raising the bar on execution as the company grows. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced performance marketer who combines deep channel expertise with strong operational judgment.
What You’ll Do- Own the strategy, execution, and performance of Justworks’ core performance marketing channels, including paid search, SEO and AEO (AI-assisted and generative search optimization), and affiliate and partner-driven acquisition.
- Lead and develop a team of performance marketing specialists and foster a culture of ownership, business stewardship, and continuous improvement.
- Use performance data and experimentation results to guide investment decisions and continuously improve efficiency across the channel portfolio and increase pipeline and revenue contribution.
- Own performance reporting across channels, including pipeline contribution, efficiency metrics, and leading indicators of performance health.
- Lead ongoing optimization across bidding strategies, targeting, creative testing, landing experiences, and conversion flows.
- Continuously improve how the performance marketing engine operates by establishing clear operating rhythms for testing, learning, and iteration across channels, processes, and systems.
- Partner closely with Integrated Media to ensure strong coordination across channels and through the full funnel.
- Work with Lifecycle Marketing, Web Experience, Marketing Operations, and RevOps to improve conversion paths, attribution, and lead quality
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to align channel execution with positioning, messaging, and audience priorities

Who You Are
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing roles, ideally within B2B or B2B2C companies, with 3+ years managing and developing a team of marketers.
- Deep hands-on experience owning and scaling paid search, SEO/AEO, and affiliate channels.
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ performance budgets and delivering measurable pipeline, revenue, and customer impact.
- Strong understanding of how performance channels interact with brand and top of funnel channels, pipeline quality, and revenue conversion.
- Systems-oriented mindset, with experience improving how programs run through experimentation and iteration.
- Comfortable leading teams and working cross-functionally in an outcome-oriented environment.
The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $155,500 - $186,600 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
