If you thrive when the stakes are high and the path isn't paved, you'll love it here. Our six guiding principles are: 1% better every day, customer obsession, ship today, find a way, care deeply, and own it completely. Come shape the future of legal work with us.
About The RoleAs Senior Manager, People Operations, you will own the day-to-day execution of the entire employee lifecycle, while simultaneously helping us build the infrastructure that will eventually automate most of it.
You'll run the operations that need to run reliably right now, while designing the systems that make running them unnecessary over time. This is a role for someone who finds equal satisfaction in clearing a queue and redesigning the process that created it. If you're energized by 'builds while running,' you'll thrive here.
What You'll DoYou will help shape how we support employees through key moments in their careers and lives — from relocation and immigration sponsorship to parental, medical, and statutory leave programs.
Design and own end-to-end operational execution across the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, job changes, HRIS data accuracy, and compliance task management, and continuously identify friction points and replace manual processes with streamlined, tech-enabled solutions.
Oversee benefits and perks programs, including US open enrollment, international PEO benefits administration, and other company-specific benefit programs.
Manage and administer HRIS, including leading the evaluation, selection, and migration of our HRIS away from Justworks - then own the automation layer on top of it, continuously identifying and eliminating manual processes across the employee lifecycle.
Build and maintain a basic people operations dashboard that surfaces employee lifecycle metrics, operational and program effectiveness, and automation effectiveness data to HR leadership and the business.
Partner with Legal, Benefits, and external vendors to manage leave administration and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Drive scalable processes and manager enablement around leave management, return-to-work planning, and workplace accommodations
Advise leaders, managers, and employees on immigration, relocation, and mobility-related matters with a strong focus on employee experience and risk mitigation
Build scalable operational processes, policies, and documentation that improve efficiency, consistency, and employee experience across programs, and lead change management when rolling out new systems or policies.
This role requires a strong operator who can balance operational rigor and risk management in a fast-scaling environment
7+ years of experience in People Operations or related functions within high-growth and global organizations
Strong understanding of employment compliance, immigration regulations, leave laws, and operational risk management in fast-scaling environments
Proven ability to build scalable programs and operational processes that balance employee experience, business needs, and compliance requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle sensitive topics with clarity and care.
Self-starter with a high degree of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Bachelor’s degree required
You thrive in ambiguity, balance rigor with speed, and consider no task beneath you
Proven experience in AI/LLM implementation within an HR context
