RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Vendor/Partner Assessment and Management

• Together with Procurement and Platform Management, formulates the framework to completely assess vendors’ fit for each defined requirements of the organization. This includes: defining initial list of vendors; shortlisting vendors; and awarding.
• Applies Vendor Assessment and Management Framework to each engagement and updates the framework based on effectiveness.
• Coordinates and communicates the Vendor Management and Assessment Framework frameworks, policies and processes within a broader enterprise.

2. Vendor/Partner Performance Management

• Conduct service providers/vendors performance assessment and reporting regularly to check against agreed SLAs throughout the duration of the engagement.
• Defines the corresponding rewards/penalties in contractual terms relative to performance and, with legal, defines contract clauses and is responsible to follow-through when penalties need to be applied.
• Analyses service providers' performance in order to assist with future sourcing strategies, capability estimation, and financial planning and management

3. Vendor Risk and Compliance Management

• Coordinates the identification and ranking of vendor risks and tiering of vendors by risks and risk impacts
• Understands and applies relevant regulatory and legal compliance requirements applicable to third-party vendors and ensures compliance to these requirements
• Manages vendor risks as defined in vendor contracts and in accordance with existing risk management programs and policies; and builds communication and escalation plans accordingly

4. Vendor/Partner Innovation Management

• Formulates the framework to identify vendor classification based on current and future contribution/value to the company
• Applies the Partner Classification Framework to identify Key Partners and define the engagement program for each.
• Spearhead the Partner Engagement program

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 8 work years’ experience and background in Information Technology, Finance/Banking Industry is a plus.
• At least 5 years’ experience related to Vendor/Contracts Management, IT-related contracts is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IT, operational, security and legal, and risk concepts
• Familiarity with vendor management and governance concepts
• Experience developing and completing vendor assessments for enterprise vendors
• Proven management, leadership and facilitation skills. Ability to direct, lead and innovate. Ability to overcome resistance to change while preparing and supporting those affected by change.
• Understanding of financial concepts and range of technologies and tools (for example: financial rating services, security rating services, integrated risk management platforms, vendor risk management platforms, etc.) that will aid in evaluation of the financial and operational risk associated with incumbent and potential suppliers
• Exhibits skill in collaborating and partnering in order to garner support and build trusting relationships, partnerships and alliances with various groups and interests.
