Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$106,300 - $125,000

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Paid Social at Purple will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, a proven track record of managing successful paid social campaigns, and the ability to drive results that align with our business objectives.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive paid social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives and company goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, social media platform updates, and emerging opportunities to ensure Purple Mattress maintains a competitive edge.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of paid social campaigns, including budget allocation, audience targeting, creative development, performance analysis and invoice reconciliation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing campaigns across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Reddit.
  • Utilize platform-specific features and tools to optimize campaign performance and achieve KPIS. 
  • Report on strategies and outcomes on a weekly and monthly basis to leadership teams
  • Work in-conjunction with creative team by writing creative briefs, providing feedback/inspiration and auditing final ad design and copy.
  • Highlight areas of opportunity, design and execute experiments, and present data-driven recommendations that improve current marketing practices it over to drive profitable demand and acquisition. 
  • Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to support opportunities to drive the business.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years experience in paid social media management with a focus on e-commerce and consumer products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Self-starter approach to work, a positive attitude, and a drive to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
  • Proven track record of developing implementing successful paid social campaigns with measurable results.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems. 
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, advertising formats, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree
