The Senior Manager, Corporate Services, OU Buying EMEA, within the Global Indirect Professional Services Procurement organisation, is responsible for all category management and sourcing activity across the Corporate Services category in the EMEA region. This role reports to the Director, Corporate Services.

In this role you will…

You will adapt and implement global category strategies across your spend area (EU and MEA), setting the strategic direction for sourcing within the relevant Operating Units. You will work closely with the category team to ensure global strategies reflect OU requirements while leveraging broader global opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and execution 

  • Manage c. £80m across Corporate Services spend pools, including consulting, HR services, financial services, legal services and fleet, across OU EU and MEA categories.

  • Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies for the categories in scope, operating with a global, strategic mindset and in close partnership with the category team.

  • Ensure OU requirements are clearly built into category strategies.

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the spend categories, particularly within the relevant OU.

  • Ensure strategies are implemented holistically across the OU and remain true to their core principles.

Benefit delivery 

  • Deliver the benefits identified in strategy through effective, collaborative execution with the OUs, aligned to assurance of supply, quality, service, cost and innovation.

  • Ensure financial benefits are managed in line with the Procurement Plan and Savings Methodology, with clear operating unit and Finance alignment on value delivery and transparent treatment of benefits in the budgeting process.

Business partnering & stakeholder management in Haleon 

  • Influence key OU stakeholders and business partners to shape strategy, secure endorsement, support execution and align how benefit delivery is reflected in budgets.

External supplier relationships 

  • Build strategic relationships with key local suppliers and lead the processes that unlock value from those partnerships.

  • Ensure both global and regional considerations are reflected in supplier relationship strategies.

  • Lead contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation and maintenance with global suppliers to maximise value for Haleon.

  • Develop and implement operational excellence strategies and plans for key suppliers to improve performance against KPIs.

Supply chain & risk management 

  • Transform end-to-end spend to unlock value and make Haleon more responsive to business and customer needs through cost control, complexity reduction, simplification, best-practice procurement and KPI use.

  • Ensure suppliers are effectively managed against third-party risk requirements.

  • Develop and implement operational excellence strategies and plans for key global suppliers to improve performance against KPIs.

Team management 

Manage a team of c. 4 people delivering Corporate Services sourcing execution across Europe and the MEA OUs. Drive continuous improvement to ensure Global Procurement delivers maximum value to the business, while building team capability, motivation, synergy and seamless collaboration at every level.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Level of Education: Master’s Degree

Area of Specialisation: Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing

  • 10+ years of operational procurement experience across multiple categories.

  • Excellent knowledge of procurement tools, including sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, supplier review and supplier development.

  • Demonstrated expertise in category management, especially strategy development and implementation, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management.

  • In-depth understanding of the external environment and supplier relationship models.

  • Strong knowledge of finance, including cost benchmarking and financial audits with key suppliers, and legal matters relating to contracting.

  • Clear understanding of business value, business priorities and implementation risk.

  • Significant experience working in a matrixed global and regional business environment.

  • Strong networking skills and a proven ability to build productive, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.

  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work in partnership with others to drive, implement and support change.

  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks across multiple projects, supported by strong project management skills.

  • Strong analytical, written, verbal communication and influencing skills.

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, often to tight deadlines.

  • Experience in risk management.

  • Motivation for professional development, with a willingness to coach, mentor and train others.
