Job Description

Lend A Hand India is looking for an experienced Senior Manager (Operations) to provide strategic leadership and oversee operational excellence across the organization. The role is responsible for optimizing operations, strengthening program implementation, ensuring financial and regulatory compliance, managing large cross-functional teams, and supporting organizational growth while enabling the successful delivery of LAHI's mission across India.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals, oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations, collaborate with founders and senior leadership, and monitor key organizational performance indicators.
  • Program & Service Delivery: Ensure effective administrative support for program implementation and expansion across regions while identifying operational challenges and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and impact.
  • Financial & Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, donor requirements, governance standards, and legal frameworks while optimizing resource allocation, managing operational risks, and maintaining transparency across operations.
  • Human Resources & Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support regional leadership teams while overseeing recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, and organizational culture.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to develop organizational policies, operational frameworks, and long-term strategic initiatives that strengthen institutional effectiveness.


RequirementsRequirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in operations, program management, and leadership roles, preferably within the non-profit or social impact sector.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience managing large, multi-location teams of 100+ employees and driving organizational performance.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, compliance, governance, and operational risk management.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in operational planning, organizational development, and knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to the non-profit sector.
