Role Overview - Lead Regional Content Operations

  • Build and maintain launch checklists, readiness trackers, milestone plans, and operational dashboards.
  • Coordinate with Content, Localization & Dubbing, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Partnerships, Communications, Customer Experience, and Legal to ensure launch requirements are met.
  • Confirm that localized content dubs,   and partner deliverables are ready for launch.
  • Identify launch risks early and drive mitigation plans, escalation, and resolution.
  • Support post-launch reviews to identify operational gaps, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
Manage local Content Assets
  • Oversee the readiness, accuracy, and delivery of content assets, including video files, audio tracks, and dubs
  • Establish quality-control checks for content packages and coordinate correction of missing, inaccurate, or technically non-compliant assets.
  • Partner with Localization & Dubbing teams to track language coverage, dubbing delivery, subtitle readiness, and quality-control status.
  • Ensure content information is consistent across internal systems, consumer experiences, partner platforms, and distribution channels.
  • Maintain effective asset tracking, version control, documentation, and auditability across the content lifecycle.
Coordinate Partners and Vendors
  • Manage operational relationships with localization vendors, dubbing studios, post-production providers, content aggregators, distribution partners, platforms, and other external service providers.
  • Establish clear briefs, delivery specifications, service levels, schedules, quality expectations, and issue-resolution processes.
  • Monitor vendor and partner performance across timeliness, completeness, quality, responsiveness, capacity, and cost.
  • Coordinate onboarding, operational reviews, performance improvement plans, and continuous process enhancement for relevant partners.
  • Ensure partner and vendor deliverables are aligned with Crunchyroll’s regional launch and content standards.
Support Regional and Global Collaboration
  • Serve as a key operational contact between Asia and MENA regional teams, global Content Operations, Localization, Product, Engineering, and other enterprise functions.
  • Translate regional market requirements and operational needs into clear inputs for global planning and platform processes.
  • Coordinate handoffs, dependencies, decisions, and actions across teams operating in different markets and time zones.
  • Provide clear reporting on readiness, performance, operational risks, incidents, and actions required from regional or global stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships across a matrixed organization and influence outcomes without formal authority.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and scale content operations across Asia and MENA.
  • Analyze recurring defects, delays, incidents, and operational bottlenecks to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Establish and track operational metrics such as readiness, on-time delivery, asset completeness, defect rates, issue aging, vendor performance, and launch quality.
  • Share best practices and market learnings across regional and global teams.
  • Support business continuity, incident response, and operational resilience for content delivery and availability.
