Dynamics of the Role
Candidate will be a part of Operations Function and will be responsible for timely and accurate Regulatory and Compliance submissions. Candidate with work closely with the Business Unit Compliance Officer and Functional Leads for reporting, tracking and closure of Regulatory, Compliance and Audit submissions.
Candidate will also engage with the Enterprise Compliance team on all aspects of Compliance Management for Operations

What You'll Bring:

  • Daily circulation of regulatory guidelines/ circulars/ notification to Operations Leads along with actionables where applicable
  • SPOC for all Regulatory & Compliance indents and ensure all Regulatory and Compliance submissions as per defined timelines
  • Manage & Track all RBI indents and responses. Work closely with functional leads to ensure RBI indents responses are submitted for review as per defined timelines and with desired quality
  • Independent analysis, validation of data and value additions for all regulatory and compliance submissions
  • Track all open Regulatory, Compliance, Audit observations and publish status reports to Mgmt as per defined frequency
  • Check quarterly vendor audits reports and vendor visits reports submitted by functions for completeness and correctness and submit for approvals & onward submissions
  • Plan & conduct compliance testing on all regulatory compliance points applicable for Operations and submit report to Mgmt as per defined timelines
  • Ensure that all operational non-compliance issues are brought to the attention of Mgmt on timely basis
  • Publish compliance report to Mgmt as per defined frequency

Maintain and update repository for all RBI circulars, submissions, supporting documents / data, evidences etc in designated folder

Impact You'll Make:

Experience and Skills

  • Qualification: Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Operational Compliance / Compliance Testing Compliance Monitoring in Bank / NBFC, Compliance Consultancy, Credit Risk Knowledge of Banking/ Lending Industry would be preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Executive presence and assertiveness.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently, handle ambiguous situations and exercise judgement in variety of situations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, verbal & written skills.
  • High degree of responsibility and ownership, strong multitasking, coordination and tenaciously looking for ways to get results.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
