We're looking for an amazing Senior Manager, Onboard Revenue to fill this hybrid role and can be based in Seattle, WA or Miami, FL.You'll primarily responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the following business divisions - Spa, Art, Celebrations (Weddings, ROVs, Florals and In-Stateroom Decor) in conjunction with the respective commercial partner where applicable, for both the Holland America and Seabourn fleets. This role will have indirect leadership (dotted line reporting) over the Onboard Revenue Specialist for assistance with current programs & projects, dry dock renovations, secondary flow revitalization, etc. Additionally, you'll need to develop an intrinsic understanding of the importance of business initiatives by department in order to make recommendations to Director, Onboard Revenue as well as provide forecasted revenue figures to support annual and ongoing submissions. Your overall focus will be on driving business initiatives to meet or exceed forecasted revenues and guest satisfactions scores.

Here's a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Senior Manager, Onboard Revenue. Is this you?

  • Primarily responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the following business divisions - Spa, Art, Celebrations (Weddings, ROVs, Florals and In-Stateroom Decor) in conjunction with the respective commercial partner where applicable, for both the Holland America and Seabourn fleets
  • Analyzes monthly revenue and guest satisfaction reports and makes recommendations to improve products & services and is able to contribute to monthly OBR PowerPoint to present to Executive Leadership team.
  • Is capable of strategizing business initiatives by department, understanding forecasted lift thru to execution and continuous monitoring. Provides recommendations and input for annual Plan and segmented forecast updates.
  • Works with the OBR Specialist to maximize opportunities in continuing programs that form part of our OBR strategy such as VIP cruises. This may include travelling to co-host.
  • Oversees coordination of Capex, lifecycle replacement, drydock project lists; keeps abreast of ongoing repair & maintenance and ADA needs for onboard revenue outlets under their purview.
  • Periodically reviews online merchandising of primary and secondary flow, works with OBR Specialist and Creative Services to develop OBR materials relating to guest communication and pre-cruise sales.
  • Maintains the policies, procedures & standards for Onboard Revenue within Global HESS.

  • 5 years of management experience, overseeing revenue generation ideally within the cruise or hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of cruise line operations and/or shipboard revenue operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data, utilize resources appropriately and effectively report on results.
  • Ability to present in written and oral formats to accurately communicate business performance and strategy.
  • Detail oriented while working independently and efficiently on multiple projects at any given time.
  • Strongly skilled in all aspects of Microsoft tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with shipboard & shoreside leadership, and key stakeholders.
  • Polished personal presentation, representative of a premium cruise line and that of our business partners both online and in person.

  • Base Salary Range: $99,900.00-$134,800.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
