About the Team:

The North Asia Strategy team collaborates with Agoda's regional leadership to provide critical insights through analytics, align cross-functional goals, and drive strategic initiatives. We ensure top-level priorities translate into effective operations, turning early-stage ideas into impactful opportunities to grow the business locally, strategically, and efficiently.

The Role:

As the Senior Manager of Strategy for North Asia, you will lead strategic projects and collaborate with senior stakeholders across departments. Working closely with executives in product, supply, marketing, and finance, you will shape our strategy and drive key business initiatives. You will provide deep insights into market trends, competitors, and business performance to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
  • Execution of Key Initiatives: Own the end-to-end execution of strategic programs, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with business goals, and effective follow-up to drive enhancements and improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication to align strategic initiatives and foster cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to evaluate the success of strategies and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively to address business challenges.
  • Project Management: Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Online Travel Agency (OTA) industry.
