About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager Multi-Channel Development to join our European Business Unit of the Husqvarna Forest & Garden (HFG) Division. This role will be responsible for developing and orchestrating commercial tools and frameworks that enable an effective multi-channel sales strategy.

Summary of responsibilities

  • Create, define, implement and control our multi-channel strategies to ensure that HFG distribution channels & networks operate synergistically and with minimum channel conflict, i.e.:
    • Developing legal and commercial frameworks to balance our channel mix
    • Implementing frameworks to govern multi-national channels/accounts
    • Securing launch excellence across channels
    • Ownership in the sales function for product-to-channel allocation
  • Establish multi-channel performance management
    • Monitoring and optimizing performance of all channels; defining set of channel KPIs and developing Channel Analytics BI dashboard
    • Collaborate with European channel owners (e-com, marketplaces, retail, Pro, etc.) to ensure channel performance
  • Lead the annual multi-channel commercial planning process, i.e.:
    • including volume, product mix, channel mix, pricing, promotions assortment and trade investment
    • liaising effectively with stakeholders, especially regional/country teams
  • Support central gross-to-net management to ensure channel profitability, i.e.:
    • implementing effective multi-channel profitability monitoring tools
    • evaluating of pan-European promotions incl. follow-up activities
  • Collaborate with Marketing and local teams to steer annual channel investments and coordinate co-investment models with partners
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure an aligned annual operating plan with revenue, margin and share objectives

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Masters’ degree in B.A., Economics, Marketing or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a multi-channel environment, preferably with (premium) brands in the Consumer Durables industry
  • Proven track record in commercial management, sales channel management/controlling, revenue management, financial controlling
  • Relevant experience with contractual sales frameworks, sales trade terms and incentive schemes
  • Relevant experience with characteristics of Husqvarna’s sales channels
  • Ideally international background with deep cross-cultural understanding and ability to ignite cross-functional and/or international teams
  • Strategic thinking as well as pragmatic action – and knows when to apply it
  • Strong sense of ownership coupled with a "hands on" mentality
  • Strong analytical skills incl. advanced proficiency in Excel, other data analysis tools and data visualization
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills in English at all levels
  • Ability to travel within European region as required (max. 25% of time)
