Job Description

Your Challenge:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact at Philips Personal Health by enhancing the effectiveness of Advertising & Promotion (A&P) investments through a structured, data-driven approach. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic marketing decisions, ensuring maximum return on investment, and driving best practices across global and regional teams. 
 

Your role:

  • Develop and embed a standardized reporting and measurement framework to monitor key A&P mastery metrics and support informed decision-making across regions and categories.

  • Establish a structured approach and governance model for pre- and post-evaluation of marketing activities to improve planning discipline and maximize return on marketing investments.

  • Set up and lead cross-functional project teams that will be responsible for delivering against each of the five A&P Mastery workstreams. Ensure ownership, tracking, and progress reporting are embedded in ways of working.

  • Equip marketing and finance leaders with golden rules, actionable recommendations, and data-driven insights to improve budget allocation, optimize spend, and increase overall investment effectiveness.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and engagement lead, ensuring alignment and collaboration across Business Units, Regions, and the MCoE. Drive consistent ways of working across the marketing organization.

  • Leverage financial and marketing data to manage A&P performance dashboards and translate complex analytics into clear strategic guidance for business stakeholders.

  • Partner closely with Finance teams and use financial systems (e.g., SAP) to ensure accurate A&P tracking, reporting, and forecasting. Support continuous improvement in A&P data quality and transparency.

You're the right fit if:

  • University degree (Master's preferred) in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields. 

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in Marketing Strategy, Finance, or Marketing Operations, ideally having led or significantly contributed to at least one A&P Effectiveness or financial performance project. 

  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in financial systems and tools, and a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets to uncover actionable insights. 

  • Proven experience in developing measurement frameworks and optimizing marketing spend. 

  • Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent project management capabilities and a structured approach to problem-solving. 

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a proven ability to foster and enable end-to-end relationships across complex global and regional teams. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to build dynamic reports, analyze large data sets, and create meaningful visualizations. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing senior stakeholders. 

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
