Job Description:

DEUTSCH

• Plant, gestaltet und optimiert alle Produktionsbereiche mit Fokus auf Qualität, Liefertreue und hoher Gesamtanlageneffektivität (OEE).
• Führt und entwickelt das gesamte Produktionsteam, einschließlich Bereichs- und Schichtleitungen, durch Befähigung, Training und individuelle Entwicklungsmaßnahmen.
• Optimiert Produktionsprozesse, Wertströme und unterstützende Funktionen mithilfe moderner Lean-Methoden und datenbasierter Analysen.
• Analysiert und modernisiert die bestehende Fertigungstechnik, inklusive der Erarbeitung von Konzepten zur Produktionsverbesserung.
• Verantwortet die Erreichung von Bereichs-, Ergebnis- und Kostenzielen und stellt deren Einhaltung sicher.
• Stärkt die abteilungsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklung, Qualität, Logistik und Instandhaltung zur Sicherstellung reibungsloser Abläufe.
• Wirkt an der strategischen Standortentwicklung mit und setzt operative Maßnahmen, Standards und Zielsysteme konsequent um.
• Optimiert ERP- und MDE-Systeme zur Verbesserung der Produktionsplanung und -steuerung.
• Führt interne und externe Audits durch und initiiert nachhaltige Maßnahmen zur Erfüllung von Kunden- und IATF-Anforderungen sowie zur Steigerung von Arbeitssicherheit, Produktivität und Effizienz.
• Übernimmt weitere standortbezogene Aufgaben gemäß strategischer Prioritäten und Unternehmenszielen.

ENGLISH

• Plans, designs, and optimizes all production areas, focusing on quality, on-time delivery, and high overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Leads and develops the entire production team, including area and shift leaders, through empowerment, training, and individual development measures.
• Optimizes production processes, value streams, and supporting functions using modern lean methods and data-driven analysis.
• Analyzes and modernizes existing manufacturing technology, including developing concepts to improve production.
• Is accountable for achieving departmental, profit, and cost targets and ensures compliance.
• Strengthens cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Contributes to the site’s strategic development and consistently implements operational measures, standards, and target systems.
•  Optimizes ERP and shopfloor data collection (MES) systems to improve production planning and control.
• Conducts internal and external audits and initiates sustainable measures to meet customer and IATF requirements and to improve workplace safety, productivity, and efficiency.
• Takes on additional site-related responsibilities in line with strategic priorities and company objectives.

Required Skills and Education

DEUTSCH

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Maschinenbaustudium (oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation)
• Mindestens 7 Jahre Erfahrung in der Automobilzulieferindustrie – idealerweise in einer verantwortlichen Funktion in Produktion oder Operations
• Sehr gutes Verständnis von Produktionsprozessen und Fertigungsabläufen (Umformung, Zerspanung, Montage)
• Nachweisbare Führungserfahrung über mehrere Ebenen hinweg, kombiniert mit einem klaren, authentischen Führungsstil
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Auswertung und Interpretation von Produktionskennzahlen wie OEE, Labor Efficiency, Scrap Rate
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Lean Management, Prozessoptimierung und kontinuierlicher Verbesserung (KVP)
• Stark ausgeprägte Kommunikations‑, Verhandlungs‑ und Durchsetzungsfähigkeiten sowie ein sicheres Auftreten auf allen Hierarchieebenen
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in MS Office sowie in ERP‑Systemen (bevorzugt SAP oder Oracle)
• Sehr gute Deutsch‑ und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

ENGLISH

• Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a comparable qualification)
• At least 7 years of experience in the automotive supplier industry—ideally in a responsible role in Production or Operations
• Very good understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations (metal forming, machining, assembly)
• Proven leadership experience across multiple levels, combined with a clear, authentic leadership style
•  Very good knowledge of analyzing and interpreting production KPIs such as OEE, Labor Efficiency, and Scrap Rate
• Solid expertise in Lean Management, process optimization, and continuous improvement (KVP/continuous improvement process)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills, with confidence at all hierarchical levels
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP or Oracle)
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
