As the Senior Manager - Manufacturing Engineering at IN - NOVATEUR ELECTRICAL & DIGITAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (NEDS), you will play a crucial role in driving our manufacturing operations and ensuring the successful launch of new products. Your expertise in engineering techniques and process design will be instrumental in optimizing our production processes and achieving our business goals.
Responsibilities- Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes to enhance production output and product quality.
- Lead the industrialization process for new products, including budgeting, timeline management, plant layout design, machine installation, testing, and production rollout.
- Apply engineering techniques such as MOST and PMTS to optimize operational sequences and time standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and department heads to align manufacturing strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Manage change management processes effectively, adapting to evolving business needs and market trends.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing engineering and incorporate innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze production data and identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Management or a related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years of experience heading the ME function in a similar setup.
- Excellent knowledge of engineering processes, tools, and design, including fixtures design and assembly process.
- Proficiency in using engineering techniques like MOST and PMTS for process optimization.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding to align manufacturing strategies with business goals.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex manufacturing projects and teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to influence and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.
