Senior Manager Legal Counsel plays The Legal Counsel ensures the company’s operations, products, and strategic initiatives comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Position Responsibilities:

  • Handles a wide variety of operational legal matters, including day to day legal inquiries from all levels of BU organization
  • Provide legal opinions to senior counsel on a wide variety of matters
  • Execute legal research on behalf of counsel/senior counsel
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory and industry developments, and providing updates to Counsel
  • Participating in industry conferences, presentations
  • May be asked to revise, draft and (where applicable) participate in negotiation

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of financial principles and risk management is an advantage.
  • Developing strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify and analyze legal issues effectively.
  • Proficient in interpreting statutory provisions and case law.
  • Capable of drafting clear and accurate legal documentation.
