We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Procurement-Advanced Therapies, with experience in end-to-end procurement strategies/processes and with proven successful global category execution in Contract Development and Manufacturing Operations. A typical day might include the following:
Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the global CMO Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned
Works closely with partners to manage discussions related to the CMO Categories and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and business partners
Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities for the Packaging Category as assigned
Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities
Supports Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the CMO categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the category team
Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities
The Role Might be for you if have:
Experience leading category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations
Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements
Managed teams of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable.)
Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.
Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)
We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma or science in general.
Sr Manager level: 8+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries, demonstrating growth in experience, scale, and development throughout.
*This role requires working onsite 5 days per week
