What You Will Do

  • Lead global incident response coordination, ensuring timely triage, escalation, communication, and resolution across all businesses and regions.

  • Oversee integration of travel risk monitoring, assessments, and intelligence into the incident management process to support employee safety, security, and continuity.

  • Drive development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of global response frameworks, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.

  • Serve as a liaison with internal partners, including business leaders during incidents and high-risk travel events.

  • Conduct after-action reviews, provide strategic insights, assess performance, identify gaps, and strengthen readiness.

  • Execute program implementation and compliance at joint venture locations, ensuring alignment to enterprise program and travel risk expectations.

  • Analyze information from the monitoring team to triage global events and coordinate incident and high-risk travel responses.

  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments, traveler support, and operational reviews tied to global mobility and geopolitical conditions.

  • Partner amongst teams to advance global monitoring, preparedness, and response capabilities, and support enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required .

  • Experience in global intelligence monitoring, geopolitical risk analysis, or travel security operations.

  • Experience leading high-risk incident or crisis responses with senior-level visibility.

  • Experience in leveraging data and technology platforms for monitoring, analysis, and decision support.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working within a complex global organization, preferably in aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environments.

  • Strong ability to translate operational insights into executive-level communications, dashboards, and briefings.

  • Professional certification such as CBCP or equivalent crisis/continuity credentials.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
