Job Description

As a Senior Fund Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services to one of our key fund clients.

Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely production of financial statements, investor reporting, Net Asset Value calculations, regulatory reporting and ad-hoc calculations you will work closely with administration teams, senior management, clients, auditors, and regulators to maintain the highest standards of service delivery and compliance.

The role requires strong technical fund accounting expertise, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to lead by example in fostering a collaborative, client-focused culture. You will also contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives, support regulatory and compliance requirements, and help drive operational excellence while embodying the organisation's values of being Authentic, Bold, and Collaborative

What You’ll Do

  • You will provide technical leadership and risk oversight, supporting complex client structures and transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and embedding strong risk management practices
  • You will build and maintain strategic partnerships with clients and related stakeholders and support with client growth
  • You will help lead the team in producing a high level of quality internal and external client service, including the accurate and timely provision of financial accounting services 
  • You will ensure that the team are following and complying with the company’s policies and procedures and, in case of non-compliance, escalate this in a timely manner  
  • You will lead and inspire high-performing teams by fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning

Qualifications

  • You hold a relevant professional qualification (ACCA/FCCA/CA(SA) or equivalent) with extensive industry experience in fund services or a related field
  • You demonstrate strong technical knowledge of fund administration, applicable laws, regulatory requirements, taxation, and best practices across relevant jurisdictions
  • You exhibit excellent analytical, numeracy, and IT skills, with the ability to interpret complex fund and legal documentation accurately and with attention to detail
  • You communicate effectively and collaborate well with colleagues, showing strong relationship management skills, high self-awareness, and a commitment to continuous development
  • You show resilience and integrity in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, support team members through change, and maintain a strong risk-aware mindset

Skills Required
