The Senior Manager FP&A Bio Development, Manufacturing & Supply plays a key role in driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, performance analysis and management insight across the Bio Development, Manufacturing & Supply organization. The role enables transparency on financial performance, productivity, cost development, investment priorities and key value drivers, supporting informed decision-making for Finance and business leadership. Acting as a trusted partner to the Head FP&A Bio Development, Manufacturing & Supply, the broader Bio Finance leadership team, Corporate FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders, the incumbent ensures high-quality, timely and consistent financial outputs while continuously improving FP&A processes, tools and analytics capabilities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Coordinate Bio Development, Manufacturing & Supply reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles, ensuring alignment with business priorities, financial targets, and corporate timelines.
Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting with clear explanations of performance drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Drive continuous improvement of planning, forecasting, reporting processes, tools, and analytics capabilities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and business insights.
Act as a trusted FP&A business partner, translating operational developments into financial implications and decision-ready recommendations for stakeholders.
Prepare high-quality management analyses, financial narratives, presentations, dashboards, and standardized reporting packages, with a strong focus on visualization and business storytelling.
Monitor and analyze key financial and operational KPIs, including Core EBIT, period costs, conversion costs, COGS, productivity, CapEx, cash flow, inventory, FTE development, and overall business performance.
Manage central team budgets, support FP&A, productivity, automation, data quality, governance, and process improvement initiatives, while delivering ad-hoc analyses and contributing to team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Partner closely with Corporate FP&A, Bio Finance, Technical Platforms, Development, Manufacturing, Supply, and Commercial Finance stakeholders to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master Degree/MBA is desirable.
Fluent English required; additional local language skills are an advantage.
5-8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, performance management, financial reporting, controlling, or finance business partnering, ideally within pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, manufacturing, supply, or another complex global environment.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to connect operational drivers, financial results, and business priorities.
Solid project management capabilities, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results during planning, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
In-depth knowledge in business systems as SAP, Alterix and enabling functions as SHAPE, Data Warehouse, IFP plus excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with dashboards, data visualization, and automation tools is considered an advantage.
Strong financial and business acumen, combined with attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset, high integrity and accountability, resilience, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build trusted partnerships across functions and geographies.
