Ideal Candidate Profile:
A person with finance background / experience with strong analytical thinking who can combine FP&A expertise with data, technology, and AI capabilities to transform the finance function from reporting-focused to insight-driven.
To strengthen the FP&A function by leveraging finance expertise, data analytics, AI, and automation. The role will identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting, insights generation, and decision support through technology-led solutions and lead end-to-end implementation of automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. FP&A Business Partnering
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
Develop meaningful business insights through analysis of financial and operational data.
Partner with business teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive decision-making.
Improve accuracy and efficiency of FP&A processes.
2. AI & Automation Opportunity Identification
Assess existing FP&A processes to identify automation and AI use cases.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance analytics capabilities.
Build business cases for automation initiatives including benefits, cost impact, and implementation roadmap.
Stay updated on emerging AI tools and finance technology trends.
3. Data Analytics & Insights
Develop advanced analytics solutions using financial and operational datasets.
Create dashboards, models, and reporting solutions to improve visibility and decision support.
Use data analytics techniques to identify trends, risks, cost optimization opportunities, and growth drivers.
Enable predictive analytics for forecasting and scenario planning.
4. Automation Implementation & Change Management
Lead end-to-end implementation of AI/automation projects from idea generation to deployment.
Work with IT, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Drive adoption of new tools and processes across finance teams.
Document processes, controls, and best practices.
5. Reporting & Performance Management
Automate management reporting and KPI tracking.
Improve speed, accuracy, and quality of financial reporting.
Develop self-service analytics capabilities for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of FP&A processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting.
- Experience in finance analytics and working with large datasets.
- Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as:
- Power BI / Tableau
- Advanced Excel
- SQL / Python (preferred)
- JavaScript programming (bonus skill)
- ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/others)
- Understanding of AI concepts and practical applications in finance.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience implementing automation solutions in Finance.
- Exposure to AI tools, RPA, GenAI, or finance transformation projects.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate business problems into technology solutions.
- Experience with Agentic AI
