Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and timely submission of external financial reports, including quarterly and annual reports, lender compliance documents, and other necessary materials
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial information presented in external reports
  • Serve as a key point of contact for senior management, auditors, and other key stakeholders on financial reporting matters, providing essential documentation and insightful commentary
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial results, identifying trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate with finance, legal and other departments to manage regulatory filings and disclosures
  • Coordinate the financial operating cycle, encompassing the annual budget and strategic plan, monthly operational and financial reviews and close reviews
  • Lead initiatives and oversee implementation of financial reporting best practices including internal controls over financial reporting
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of financial reporting professionals, while leading and coordinating team activities and projects

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be qualified to work in the United States - we are not sponsoring any candidates at this time. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate financial reporting in a public company or public accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Experience with Workiva or other integrated reporting platforms preferred
  • Keen understanding of financial statements and financial data
  • Proven leadership and team management with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage competing projects and challenge the status quo
