We are looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. In summary, the role will be responsible for building the FP&A team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop FP&A Function: Establish and implement FP&A processes, tools, and systems from the ground up.
- Build a Capital Allocation Culture: Create relevant monitoring & trade-offs frameworks.
- Financial Modeling - Tactical & Strategical: Create and maintain complex financial models to support company decision making and fundraising.
- Budget Management: Oversee annual budgeting processes, including setting timelines, ensuring alignment with company goals, & monthly monitoring.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and other departments to align financial objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor future FP&A team members as the department grows.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Agnostic. A track record as a proactive self-learner is more important.
- Experience: 7+ years of FP&A experience, with a strong background in manufacturing.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing and developing an FP&A function/team.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting.
- Critical Thinking Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience scaling a high-rate manufacturing plant from scratch.
- Experience handling $1B+ worth of capital.
