About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Lead to join us here at Mochi Health. In this critical role, you will be the first hire for our finance team and get to build out our fast growing organization. You’ll play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting, working cross-functionally to support our rapidly growing organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong business & financial acumen, the ability to interpret complex data, and excellent communication skills to present findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels. What You’ll Do:
- Lead all annual, quarterly, and long-range financial planning
- Build and maintain full year budgets and quarterly forecasts for various teams throughout our organization, including but not limited to engineering, marketing, and more!
- Develop and maintain financial models to project future performance and support growth initiatives.
- Analyze trends and variances in financial data, offering recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.
- Partner with department heads to create and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and policies.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.
- Skilled in Python and SQL to automate data analysis tasks, build sophisticated financial models, & perform advanced forecasting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented mindset.

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $180,000-$200,000, in addition to equity and benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors, such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.
