Position/Title: Senior Manager – Financial Analyst
Department: Finance
Employment Type: Full-time
Shifts(if any): 2:00PM to 11:00PM (candidate should be flexible to work as per business requirement)
Experience: 6-8 years relevant experience in GL profile
About the Role:
The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices. Lead and Assistant Manager - Finance will be responsible for analysis of the general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement to ensure all expenses are accounted properly in the correct GL, Department, Location, and Project Code. Identifying reasons for increase or decrease in expenses and income (detailed variance analysis). Able to identify and explain variance analysis of Balance Sheet items. Strong understanding of Accounting GAAP (IndAS/IFRS/USGAAP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews monthly, quarterly and annual financial results
- Preparation of monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly variance analysis of the balance sheet and income statement for the period ending in question with previous periods
- Review of reconciliation statements of Banks, Debtors, and Creditors
- Review of accrual account reconciliation
- Review of payroll JEs and reconciling with Bank payments
- Review and reconciliation of Prepaid expenses GLs
- Reconciliation of other assets and liability GLs (security deposits, advances, statutory liabilities, loans, Lease assets and liabilities)
- Review of Fixed assets register and GL to validate capitalization of items (Capex vs Opex)
- Preparation of Inter-company balances eliminated on consolidated level for USGAAP and IGAAP
- Preparation of reports and schedules for CFO and Investors reporting
- Support in all statutory and Group audits and queries.
- Work closely with other finance teams such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax, and Consolidation team to ensure a cohesive financial process
- Support Director of Finance and leadership in special projects as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BCom/MBA/CA with 6 to 8 years working experience in GL Analysis and reporting
- Must be familiar with general accounting, having good understanding of accounting, proficient in spreadsheet, and be able to work in teams or work alone under self-direction
- Good communication skills since the candidate will be working with other team members located in U.S., Philippines, Guatemala, Colombia, Singapore, and India
- Experience of SAP/Oracle ERP systems and working in BPO/KPO or any service industry will be preferable
