The Role
As an exchange fund specialist, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and adoption of Fidelity’s Exchange Fund. You will act as a key connector across the investment, operations, and distribution teams, while serving as a subject matter expert and trusted partner to advisors and clients. This individual will need to become a subject matter expert on exchange funds and will be expected to spend a significant amount of time providing education to potential customers. The person needs to be adept at and willing to work with Fidelity representatives, third party advisors, and their clients while providing a strong partnership with Fidelity’s investment management and investment operations teams. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning, ability to be collaborative and have excellent organization and communication skills
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Series 7 and 63 (or equivalent) preferred, or ability to obtain within role
- 5+ years of experience in financial services or investment management
- Demonstrated success managing client relationships, ideally within asset management
- Familiarity with private funds and alternative investment structures
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment

- At least three years of experience in product management, distribution, or client engagement, particularly with private clients and their advisors
- Knowledge of or strong interest in tax-efficient investment strategies along with a willingness to gain an understanding of all aspects of an exchange fund

The Team
The Investment Product Group plays a key role in the company, partnering closely with asset management, Fidelity’s distribution channels, and the broader organization to deliver a diverse range of investment capabilities and vehicles to meet the needs of retail, intermediary, and institutional clients.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
