Huhtamaki is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, ESG Reporting & Analytics to guide the company through an evolving sustainability reporting landscape. This role is central to meeting EU ESRS and CSRD requirements, responding to key voluntary frameworks, and communicating our progress as a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions. You will develop and implement reporting processes that are reliable, well controlled, and practical for business use. Your work will shape how sustainability information is collected, validated, and shared across the company, ensuring ESG data becomes a meaningful part of everyday decision making.
Where you’ll beYou will be located at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland, collaborating with global and regional colleagues across business segments, functions, and sites.
What you’ll be doingLead Huhtamaki’s ESG reporting and ensure compliance with EU ESRS, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and other mandatory sustainability requirements.
Translate regulatory requirements into clear expectations and practical guidance for business segments, functions, and sites.
Design and implement end-to-end ESG reporting processes that support accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
Establish internal controls, documentation standards, and validation procedures that meet financial-grade expectations.
Work closely with Finance, Internal Audit, Risk, and IT to integrate ESG data into broader governance structures.
Maintain a clear ESG data model, including definitions and calculation methodologies.
Collaborate with global and regional teams to embed ESG reporting requirements into operational processes.
Provide training, tools, and guidance to data owners and functional experts to strengthen ESG understanding and accountability.
Identify opportunities where improved ESG data can support strategic decisions, customer discussions, and innovation.
Support the evolution and development of ESG-linked incentive schemes.
Act as a key contact for external auditors, regulators, and rating agencies on ESG reporting matters.
Partner with Sustainability, Finance, Legal, and Communications teams to ensure alignment between ESG disclosures and corporate strategy.
Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry best practices, advising leadership on implications and opportunities.
8+ years of experience in ESG reporting within the manufacturing industry, preferably in a multinational environment.
Strong understanding of EU ESRS, CSRD, and EU Taxonomy requirements.
Experience designing or managing controlled ESG reporting processes in a multinational context.
Clear understanding of key operational and product sustainability metrics.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
Experience working with operational teams, ideally in manufacturing or packaging.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
A structured, proactive, and collaborative working style.
Strong verbal and written communication in both Finnish and English.
A central role in shaping Huhtamaki’s sustainability reporting as part of the Group’s central sustainability team.
