Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTION

As the Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk, your focus will be on the establishment of an Enterprise Risk function at Momentum. As an active and involved leader, you will leverage your experience to develop and execute a 2nd line risk framework and associated governance that will be leveraged across Momentum. Your direct and indirect participation in initiatives will ensure all risks are considered and appropriately addressed.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Risk Framework to be followed across the various departments at Momentum
  • Act as secretary in the Enterprise Risk Committee
  • Partner with Compliance to ensure adherence with regulations
  • Identify and deliver key control requirements across the Risk & Analytics organization
  • Risk issue management
  • Model governance
  • Audit point of contact
  • Policy/Strategy document ownership
  • Provide input to vendor oversight and audits. Report vendor risks to risk committee
  • Partner to develop KPIs, dashboards, and monitoring solutions
  • Develop and deliver additional value-added ERM initiatives that support Momentum’s overall risk management objectives

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree. Risk management, audit, or accounting degrees preferred
  • FRM, COSO, or similar certifications
  • Six Sigma Blackbelt

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years in Enterprise Risk management, Operational risk management, Governance, or similar
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Policy governance experience
  • Experience working with (non-credit) risk management, including issue management, risk assessment, audit, control testing, policy reviews, or compliance

SKILLS

  • Advanced PowerPoint, with general proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Control design and risk mitigation
  • Demonstrated experience in policy writing, drafting/reviewing procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
