EBANX is one of the most successful fintechs to emerge from Latin America — and today, we are building a truly global payments company. Our mission has remained constant from day one: to unlock access and enable companies and consumers to participate in the digital economy, no matter where they are.
What started as a bold vision has grown into a platform that connects some of the world’s largest digital businesses with customers across 21 of the fastest-growing markets. We operate where complexity exists — turning local challenges into global opportunities, and building the infrastructure that allows payments to move further, faster, and smarter.
We are a team of builders and problem-solvers. We think globally, act with curiosity, and believe diversity of thought is a competitive advantage.
As EBANX enters its next phase of hyper growth, we are looking for people who want to shape the future of payments, expand what’s possible, and help connect businesses and consumers across borders.
Let’s build what’s next — together.
At EBANX's Corporate areas, you don't just keep operations running. You work behind the scenes to ensure every part of the company is connected, efficient, and ready to grow. Every project and process is driven by strategy, collaboration, and impact, making our work truly Out Of The Ordinary.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Design, implement, and continuously improve EBANX's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, including governance structures, risk taxonomy, risk appetite statements, and risk tolerance thresholds;
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of risk professionals — setting clear goals, providing ongoing coaching, managing performance, and building a high-performing, insight-driven culture;
- Own and lead EBANX's enterprise risk programs, ensuring they are structured, consistently executed, and continuously maturing across the organization;
- Build and maintain the company's risk register, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, owned, and monitored across all business units and geographies;
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and control effectiveness evaluations, translating findings into prioritized mitigation plans;
- Develop and maintain risk reporting for the ELT and Board — including risk dashboards, heat maps, KRI monitoring, and trend analysis — translating complex risk exposure into clear, actionable insights;
- Define, track, and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs), establishing escalation thresholds and early warning mechanisms;
- Lead scenario analysis and stress testing exercises to assess the company's resilience against tail risks and emerging threats;
- Drive the maturation of EBANX's risk culture by designing training programs, awareness campaigns, and risk self-assessment processes across the organization;
- Partner closely with Product, Tech, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Compliance teams to embed risk management into strategic planning, product launches, and operational initiatives;
- Support EBANX's growth and market expansion by conducting risk assessments for new markets, products, and partnerships — monitoring regulatory, geopolitical, and macroeconomic risks;
- Coordinate with Internal Audit and Compliance to ensure alignment between risk management, internal controls, and regulatory obligations;
- Report directly to the VP Head of Risk & Compliance, contributing to the broader risk strategy and acting as a key risk advisor to senior leadership.

- Strong command of risk reporting tools and the ability to design executive-level dashboards, heat maps, and Board-ready materials;
- Ability to communicate complex risk concepts clearly and influence senior leadership, the Board, and cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority;
