Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic and expanding team in São Paulo and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Wise in the Americas. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you'll have the opportunity to foster a strong team culture and make a significant impact. You will play a pivotal role in evolving our recruitment processes, helping us introduce sourcing automation and data-driven insights to rapidly expand our product and engineering organizations, ultimately helping more customers save money.
Role Objectives
Evolving Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement world-class recruitment strategies for product and engineering roles, helping transition our processes toward predictive data analytics and modern forecasting to make faster, smarter hiring decisions.
High-Touch Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with top tech talent in the Brazilian market. Identify and implement automation to eliminate manual administrative bottlenecks, freeing up your time to guide candidates through a remarkable, personalized end-to-end recruitment experience.
Optimizing the Candidate Journey: Ensure all candidates have a positive experience, championing the adoption of modern CRM automation and nurturing tools to maintain a robust, engaged talent network for future opportunities.
Modernizing Sourcing: Innovate sourcing techniques by piloting and integrating advanced search algorithms, natural language search, and outbound automation to identify and attract passive product and engineering talent tailored to the São Paulo tech landscape.
Data-Driven Partnerships: Partner with hiring teams to support initiatives including onboarding, talent mapping, and salary benchmarking—helping introduce market intelligence tools to provide real-time talent insights.
Targeted Recruitment Marketing: Collaborate with the Employer Brand team to execute data-driven recruitment marketing campaigns and events specific to São Paulo's unique tech market.
Process Optimization & Scalability: Utilize advanced data analytics to identify pipeline bottlenecks, introducing scalable automation to address hiring challenges and optimize processes for global growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the wider People team to ensure a seamless employee experience from onboarding through integration.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Experience: experience as an in-house Recruiter with a successful track record in tech recruitment, specifically for product and engineering roles.
Tech-Forward Mindset: Demonstrated expertise in sourcing top product and engineering talent, with a strong interest or experience in piloting advanced sourcing tools, semantic search algorithms, or automated workflows.
Value Evaluation: Ability to look beyond technical skills and resumes to identify candidates who deeply align with our culture and values.
Agility & Drive: Strong self-starter who flourishes in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to use technology to drive efficiency and build new processes.
Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adaptable to change, and eager to explore and adopt emerging HR technologies.
Problem Solving: Creative problem solver who enjoys tackling challenging roles and actively learning new tech stacks and modern recruitment tools.
Communication: Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels within product and engineering organizations.
Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We expect new joiners in the office most days to build connections and learn from colleagues for their first six months. After that, most Wisers split their working week between the office and home, typically coming in at least 12 times a month.
