Your Team 

The Enterprise Resilience team serves as the organisation's centre of excellence for Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management. 
The team is responsible for establishing and maintaining enterprise-wide resilience frameworks, governance, capability, testing and insight that ensure critical operations and services remain resilient in the face of disruption. This includes driving resilience outcomes across business, operations, technology and third-party ecosystems, while supporting the organisation's broader transformation agenda and regulatory obligations. 
As the organisation progresses its resilience maturity journey, the team is leading significant capability uplift focused on critical operations, impact tolerance management, dependency mapping, resilience testing, crisis preparedness and continuous improvement.
 

 

Your responsibilities 

 

  • Act as a strategic advisor and delegate to the Head of Enterprise Resilience, supporting delivery of the enterprise resilience strategy and transformation agenda.  

  • Provide oversight, challenge and direction across resilience initiatives to ensure alignment with organisational priorities, regulatory expectations and desired outcomes.  

  • Support the evolution of resilience frameworks, governance and capability across Operational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management.  

  • Partner with business, operational, technology and risk leaders to strengthen resilience capability across critical operations and services.  

  • Represent Enterprise Resilience in governance forums, regulatory engagements and strategic initiatives as required.  

  • Provide oversight of resilience reporting, insights and recommendations to support executive and Board decision-making.  

  • Foster collaboration across resilience disciplines and promote a consistent, enterprise-wide approach to resilience management.  

  • Support capability development within the Enterprise Resilience team and broader organisation. 

Must have 

  • 12–15+ years' experience in Operational Resilience, Enterprise Resilience, Business Continuity or related resilience disciplines.  

  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and embedding enterprise resilience frameworks within highly regulated environments.  

  • Deep understanding of operational resilience principles and their application within systemically important financial institutions or financial market infrastructure organisations.  

  • Strong knowledge of the Reserve Bank of Australia Financial Stability Standards (FSS), ASIC Market Integrity Rules (MIR) and regulatory expectations applicable to critical market infrastructure operators.  

  • Proven track record leading complex transformation, remediation or capability uplift programs.  

  • Extensive experience engaging and influencing executives, regulators, auditors and senior stakeholders.  

  • Strong understanding of critical operations, dependency management, resilience testing and impact tolerance concepts.  

  • Proven ability to prepare executive-level reporting, Board papers and governance materials.  

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills. 

Nice to have 

  • Experience within a Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI), exchange, clearing and settlement facility, central counterparty, payments provider or other systemically important institution.  

  • Experience leading resilience programs linked to regulatory transformation or organisational change initiatives.  

  • Familiarity with APRA CPS 230 and leading international operational resilience frameworks.  

  • Experience with ServiceNow, process mapping, dependency modelling or resilience technology platforms.  

  • Industry certifications such as MBCI, CBCI, ISO 22301 or equivalent.
