Your mission at Sistema.bio:

The Malawi Technical Coordinator will lead in building, supporting, and expanding technical operations through our partners. As the technical lead, you will build partner capacity to ensure the highest standards of installation and after-installation services.

You’ll be in charge of:

  • Partner Capacity Building: Training and certifying partner technical teams, including technicians, conducting data training, and providing ongoing operational support.
  • Quality and Safety Compliance Monitoring: Conducting site visits, monitoring partner technical team performance, verifying installation standards, and ensuring bio-fertilizer tank safety and Partners’ adherence to our Safety Standards.
  • Inventory Management: Overseeing stock levels, inbound, and warehousing accuracy. Ensure proper forecasting as well as prudent stock management practices are implemented by partner(s).
  • Carbon Program Monitoring coordination: Ensuring the required milestones around surveys, Digital monitoring installations, and data collection are achieved within the recommended timelines by the partner.
  • Partner Data  Quality Management: Ensuring timely, accurate data collection and supporting carbon data collection and reporting.
  • Partner Relationship Management: Ensuring partner concerns as well as areas of improvement are highlighted to the company and partner, respectively, and addressed retroactively. Participate where possible in shared purpose events with partners to promote brand awareness.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Driving partner and product user Net Promoter Scores (NPS) above 50 by gathering user feedback and informing the direction to actualise improvements. 
  • Government Liaison: Supporting with any government interactions, including providing context around Sistema.bio to get favorable outcomes. 

More about YOU:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, Agriculture, renewable energy, operations management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of general experience with a minimum of 1 year of operational, team management, leadership, and coordination experience.
  • Partner relationship experience.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience in field-based or site installations.

Other important details:

  • This is a full-time position based in Malawi.
  • Starting as soon as possible.
  • The role may require occasional travel within Malawi or out of the country.
