Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Client and Partner Technologies (CPT) organization is chartered with enabling brilliant Netflix experiences on devices and building the foundational client systems and tools that make those experiences possible. Within CPT, the Partner Enablement Apps (PEA) group builds and evolves our suite of web applications that power the lifecycle of our device and payments partnerships.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale the Partner Enablement Apps engineering organization. This group develops business‑to‑business applications that enable our device partners (TVs, streaming sticks, set‑top boxes, and other “10‑foot” devices) and operator partners (ISPs, telcos, TV and mobile carriers) to integrate with Netflix APIs, manage device and service lifecycles, and operate Partner Payment experiences (including bundling Netflix with their offerings). Our tools are used both by external partners and by Netflix teams to integrate, launch, operate, monitor, update, and retire partner experiences at scale.

In this role, you’ll drive the long‑term technical strategy, organizational health, and delivery excellence across multiple teams, ensuring our partner and internal experiences are reliable, intuitive, and ready for the next generation of integrations.

The Team

You will lead a growing engineering organization that is primarily based in Warsaw, Poland and includes team members in the United States, Brazil, Netherlands, and Taiwan. The organization currently consists of four domains and requires building strong relationships across time zones and fostering a cohesive, high-performing culture despite geographic distribution.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  • Define and drive the long-term technical vision and roadmap for Enablement Applications, aligning with broader Netflix objectives

  • Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and senior leadership across wider organization and cross-functional stakeholders to influence organizational strategy and prioritization

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and platform evolution that will scale to support Netflix's next hundred million customers

  • Own the technical and organizational strategy for migrating and deprecating legacy services while maintaining operational excellence

  • Create an environment where engineers at all levels can do the best work of their careers

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, psychological safety, and engineering excellence

  • Champion diversity and inclusion, ensuring all team members can thrive regardless of background

  • Provide thoughtful coaching and career development support tailored to individual growth needs

Technical Excellence & Delivery
  • Establish and maintain a strong, mature foundation for core services across all Enablement Apps:

    • Comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, automated testing)

    • Robust monitoring, alerting, and observability

    • Scalable and sustainable on-call support models

    • Data quality and engineering best practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and implement scalable, performant, and reliable solutions

  • Own reliability and support for Partner Enablement Applications, including first-tier support for internal and external partners

  • Drive operational maturity through metrics, SLOs, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Balance innovation with stability, ensuring the team delivers value while maintaining system health

Cross-Functional Partnership

This is a highly collaborative role with partners across multiple time zones. While the cross-functional partners make every effort to accommodate time zone differences, effective collaboration requires meetings outside standard local working hours. The schedule is managed flexibly to balance business needs and personal schedule.

Travel to other organizational locations is expected several times per year to participate in leadership offsites, planning sessions, and strengthening cross-functional relationships.
