Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Manager, Emerging Talent to lead our efforts in identifying, attracting, and hiring top early-career talent. This role is a unique opportunity to build and scale a world-class campus recruiting program at a high-growth company. As part of our Talent Acquisition team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape the future of Klaviyo's talent pipeline and enhance the overall candidate experience.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of campus recruiters to create innovative recruiting strategies, establish relationships with universities, and drive the recruitment of top-tier candidates for internship, co-op, and full-time opportunities across a variety of business functions, including engineering, product, marketing, and operations.

As Senior Manager, Emerging Talent, you'll have the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our talent pipeline and our company's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Leadership:
    • Develop and implement Klaviyo's campus recruiting strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall talent acquisition and diversity goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of campus recruiters, driving success through clear goals, coaching, and ongoing support.
    • Own and optimize the end-to-end campus recruiting process, including pipeline management, recruiting strategies, and hiring metrics.
    • Work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand talent needs and ensure a seamless recruiting process.
  • University Relations & Partnerships:
    • Build and strengthen relationships with key universities, student organizations, and other campus groups to enhance Klaviyo's employer brand.
    • Represent Klaviyo at campus recruiting events, job fairs, panel discussions, and other campus activities to engage with top talent.
    • Develop and manage partnerships with university career centers, professors, and student organizations to foster a strong talent pipeline.
  • Recruitment Operations & Metrics:
    • Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, using data and feedback to refine strategies and improve overall candidate experience.
    • Leverage recruitment technology and tools to streamline operations, track candidate pipelines, and measure the effectiveness of recruiting programs.
    • Regularly report on recruiting performance metrics, including offer acceptance rates, diversity statistics, and pipeline health to senior leadership.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
    • Champion diversity and inclusion in campus recruiting efforts by identifying and nurturing relationships with underrepresented student groups and building inclusive hiring practices.
    • Work with the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion team to ensure our campus recruiting initiatives reflect Klaviyo's commitment to building a diverse and equitable workforce.
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Create an outstanding, engaging candidate experience from the first touchpoint through to the offer stage and onboarding.
    • Advocate for candidates by ensuring consistent, clear, and timely communication throughout the interview process.
  • Employer Brand & Marketing:
    • Collaborate with the employer branding team to promote Klaviyo's unique culture, values, and growth opportunities to campus talent.
    • Develop creative ways to engage students and build awareness of Klaviyo as an employer of choice.


Who you are:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in campus recruiting and relations, with at least five years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of building and scaling campus recruiting programs in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
    • Experience managing a team and collaborating cross-functionally with various business leaders, HR, and marketing teams.
  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to execute on high-impact initiatives that support broader company goals.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruiting metrics and apply insights to continuously improve processes.
    • Deep knowledge of the campus recruitment landscape, including trends, challenges, and best practices.


The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.
Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$160,000 - $240,000 USD
